Moulded Breadth from a Body Plan?

Good evening.
On the Body Plan drawings by McKay he quotes 'Moulded Breadth'.

Can someone please confirm what point the lines are at.

Do they represent the outer edge of the frames. And therefore if used, this would be the point at which the hull planking would be affixed?

Correct. These are the most useful measurements for a ship builder. He builds the frames to these dimensions, sets them up on the backbone, bevels them, and then lays the planks. Any other dimensions, e.g. to outside of plank, require additional calculations before the frames can be built. Fair winds!
