Viking ship kit

Hey, what about making up a crew? ROTF
How many Viking figurines do you think you need? 5-10?There are 30 oars, 30 shields, then following your logic, you also need 30 figures, plus a jarl, plus women, plus slaves, etc., etc. Thank you, I don't need this. In addition, the length of the drakar is 865 mm. What kind of diorama should it be in size?

Quite a big one!

We have finished work on the 3D model of the Oseberg, version 3. While it is very similar to the previous version, we have reworked and changed almost every element of the ship. The ship's rigging has been completely changed to ensure historical accuracy. Many elements have been added to the decks that enhance the image of the ship and the spirit of the Viking Age...In addition, this ship will be produced in two scales: 1-32 and 1-25. Work begins on the test construction of this model....

This is not an improved kit, it is a completely 100% different kit. Although they are very similar in appearance, absolutely all the elements have been radically changed. Also this model has a different scale 1:32
Hi Pavel, will there also be a version of the oseberg in 1:25 scale? Thanks

1/32nd BRILLIANT -- I will store away the other two that I have under my table (not one of your current 1/25th) and patiently wait for your new smaller example.
Which By the way looks to be superb indeed!!
Great news as a Viking ship was definitely to be (is) my next build ( assuming that I ever actually finish my current one ;))

Hopefully Dry Dock Models will carry it - I may then be able to order it directly from them to support them as well....

Cheers,

Approximately in July of this year, the third version of the Oseberg dracar will go on sale. She will have cherry planks, the sail will already be painted and with aging effects, the rigging will be much more complicated and of course more beautiful than the first two versions. There will also be a number of other notable improvements.....
Hi Pavel I have just seen this thread. Is the new rise wood kits available as yet and if so where can I buy either the 1/32 or 1/25? Thanks

The third version of the Oseberg 1:32 scale kit will be available in mid-summer. On a scale of 1:25 by the end of this year. In a few days I will show photos of the power frame and two stocks for assembling this model. The frame of the ship turned out to be very beautiful, although of course it’s not for me to judge...))
